The Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz 18" x 14" Bass Drum, a classic bebop configuration, is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. Gretsch have long-held an association with jazz legends like Tony Williams, Max Roach, and Elvin Jones and this bass drum is a fixture in many Jazz clubs today. With its 100% seven-ply mahogany shell and Gretsch's classic 30 Degree bearing edges, this drum is easy to tune and delivers a soft, clear sound that's perfect for the jazz genre.

This Bass Drum also boasts a round gas cap mount plate, sturdy legs and an adjustable tom holder to ensure that - unlike its predecessors from the 50s and 60s - it can easily cope with the rigours of everyday touring. The design is complete with a bold Gloss Antique Burst finish.
