The AQ2 Series has this unique effect of making you sound like a pro every time, the impressively blended shell construction and abundance of technologically advanced features all play their part in making AQ2 special. The extremely popular and all purpose 7-ply maple shell makes for a versatile sound which is brimming with rich and warm tones.

The AQ2 Series feature newly designed shell hardware and a new tom mounting system, SmartMount Technology. This minimalistic yet functional mount has the true German design and engineering spirit inside providing optimal sound sustain with a minimal amount of hardware on the drum shell. SmartMount Technology is a welcome addition to this series as it avoids unnecessary drilling holes and metal to shell contact, allowing for better sustain and better visibility on the shell surface.
