Charlie Benante is the drummer for thrash metal band Anthrax, so the heavy volume and rich sound is ideal for his powerful drumming style. The black nickel hardware contrasting the stainless steel finish gives this drum an edge that would be ideal for this type of band - and even just to add an edge to any style of drumming!
