Tama Starphonic Snare In Steel Black

Creating a warm, solid sound, this is a premium steel black snare drum, with TAMAs innovations enhancing the already superior sound. Like all snares in the Starphonic Series, this snare features a newly designed, super sensitive hi-carbon snappy snare, which has been altered so that it fits closer to the head and, therefore, carries a higher sensitivity and crisper sound. To make the art of drumming easier, this drum features TAMA's Freedom Lug and Claw Hook, meaning there is no need to take all of the tension rods out of the lugs to replace the drum head. Combining vintage design and modern technology, TAMA have created their new "Grooved Hoop" on this snare, in order to create a new snare drum sound through the effect of the hoop.
