Zildjian K Constantinople Renaissance Ride

K Constantinople cymbals provide a dark, warm sound reminiscent of the Zildjian Cymbals made in Turkey in the first half of the 20th Century. Resurfacing in the 50s and 60s, "Old K's" featured in set-ups of bebop era vanguard drummers, such as Elvin Jones. Resurfacing again in the 21st century, K Constantinoples are hand lathed by skilled craftsman, using vintage cutting tools and techniques.

Developed with renowned Jazz drummer Adam Nussbaum, this cymbal is a complement to the larger 22" version but with some more unique features. This cymbal offers a smaller, over-hammered bell, providing a more contained sound that is more integrated with the overall cymbal and is less chimey.
