Zildjian K Constantinople Thin Ride Over Hammered

K Constantinople cymbals provide a dark, warm sound reminiscent of the Zildjian Cymbals made in Turkey in the first half of the 20th Century. Resurfacing in the 50s and 60s, "Old K's" featured in set-ups of bebop era vanguard drummers, such as Elvin Jones. Resurfacing again in the 21st century, K Constantinoples are hand lathed by skilled craftsman, using vintage cutting tools and techniques.

The thin weight of this cymbal gives it a nice dark pitch and plenty of wash. The series of over hammered marks on top of the traditional hammering provides a slightly drier sound with excellent stick definition. This cymbal is incredibly easy to control even when playing fast patterns!
